If you have tried many different healing modalities, yet you still find yourself repeating the same patterns, or perhaps dealing with chronic illness, please know that there is nothing wrong with you and you didn't do anything wrong. It’s not all in your “head.” You might even be feeling discouraged, but things can get better. With personalized support, Nathan can guide you towards safely re-patterning your nervous system and survival strategies and creating more harmony with the fragmented "parts" of you. He is deeply passionate about trauma resolution, and helping you uncover the unconscious patterns that may be in the way of you having more of what you would like in your life. Whether that’s health, well-being, a sense of safety, more relaxed and calm, less worry, more meaning in life, better relationships, contentment, being more present to life, etc. All in service towards creating a more loving relationship with yourself, with others, and with life.
Nathan provides a safe, gentle, and non-judgmental space for your growth and healing to unfold. Those who work with him are seeking a loving, experienced guide on their path towards wholeness.
Nathan is licensed as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a Tai Chi and Qigong teacher, and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. He has been a practitioner of the Chinese wisdom and healing traditions for over 30 years. His Tai Chi Chuan lineages are 5th generation Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan under his grandfather, Master Kong Pak Yu, and 21st generation Chen Style Tai Chi Chuan under his uncle, Master Wong Wai Yi in the lineage of Grandmaster Chen Qingzhou’s Chen Family Taijiquan. He is also a 26th generation disciple of the Taoist Long Men Pai (Dragon Gate Lineage) under Taoist Master Yun Xiang Tseng.
Nathan has dedicated his life to co-creating a more loving, safe, and regulated world, one nervous system and one heart at a time. If you are going through a rough time right now, please remember you are not alone. We are all on this journey together, as one human family. He would love to leave you with this song he wrote, as a reminder on your journey, of the beautiful soul that you are: YouTube - Beautiful Soul "

MD, MS, MPH
Physician. Researcher. Patient. Guide.
Aimie Apigian is a double board-certified addiction physician with master's degrees in biochemistry and public health. She is the founder of the Mind-Body-Biology Institute and author of the national bestseller book, The Biology of Trauma.
Her framework didn't come from textbooks. It came from necessity.
As a surgeon and chronic health physician, she saw patients whose stress had made them sick. As a foster-adoptive mother, she experienced firsthand how trauma creates deep patterns. As someone who lived her own health collapse, she discovered what was missing from every approach she tried.
That missing piece became the Biology of Trauma® framework and an integration of psychology, somatics, and biology in the sequence the body needs to heal.
She has guided thousands through this work.
Not by doing it for them, but by being in the ring with them.
