Details of Your 21-Day Journey

 

1. 21 Daily 10-15 minute self-paced Individual Somatic Exercises

Everyday, you will receive a pre-recorded video guiding you through a somatic exercise to do on your own time.  You then share your experience, discoveries and insights with the group

2. Daily Live 10-Minute Group Exercises

These will be daily live group exercises on Zoom.  This will help integrate and solidify the individual work you are doing, and build the social engagement state of the nervous system.  It will help you create a daily maintenance routine for your day.  These will be led by myself and experienced alumni and trained coaches.  While some may go over, you are not obligated to attend or to stay the whole time.  These are here to serve you, not one more thing you are obligated to do!

3. Support From The Group For Celebration and Holding Space

The group will provide support from others who are on their own journey but can understand and relate.  This is not a place to vent and unburden yourself to the group, but rather a powerful collective experience of each of us becoming a strong person for ourselves and able to bring under gentle control our survival patterns

4. Course and Facebook Group Interaction

The course is hosted through Kajabi and you will receive a link to all the course material.  In Kajabi, you can also leave comments and get the support from me and the group.

You will also be invited to a private Facebook group for those who want to also share their experiences successes and encouragement to others as you try and discover new things you never knew about yourself and your very interesting body!

5. Are The Live Group Exercises Recorded?

Yes, though I will be doing them at a time that everyone can attend.  I am committed to changing what I need to in my schedule to make that happen because of how valuable the group experience is.    

6. The Value of This Journey

The value is hard to measure!  What you get out will definitely be directly tied to what you put in.    

In this course, you will be doing the equivalent of 11 hours of somatic therapy exercises.   Wow!

About Your Health & Trauma Coach, Dr. Aimie Apigian

 

Dr. Aimie is a Board-Certified Preventive Medicine Physician who specializes in trauma, attachment, addictions and optimizing our nervous system. She earned her medical degree at Loma Linda University, has a Masters in Biochemistry, a Masters in Public Health, and then trained 3 years as a general surgeon before changing her career path.

Her experience of adopting a son from the foster care system and then discovering her own attachment and trauma issues as a root cause of her health issues is her motivation for now bringing attachment trauma to medicine and medicine to attachment and trauma.

She has studied under and been a part of Dr. Allan Schore’s Attachment Regulation Theory study group, is a certified Somatic Experiencing practitioner, trained in Internal Family Systems (Parts Work) and Instinctual Trauma Response Model™, and continues to attend advanced trainings in Somatic Experiencing with Dr. Peter Levine and most recently, NeuroAffective Touch™.

She founded a non-profit in 2011, Family Challenge Camps, a 3-day intensive for families raising children affected by attachment or trauma issues.

She is the founder and CEO of Trauma Healing Accelerated™, a health coaching business to empower parents and individuals with practical knowledge and tools for their healing journey.

She runs an addiction detox a center in Southern California and has a concierge medical practice focused on optimizing the nervous system with cutting edge functional medicine and bio-hacking approaches and treatments.

Her most recent growth with her personal health and now career has been the addition of bio-hacking, using cutting edge science and approaches to optimize her nervous system, a term she calls Bio-Optimize, and achieve levels of capacity, resilience, and health she never knew possible

This has been her own journey. Frustrated with the tools, resources, and lack of significant progress first with her son’s healing journey and then her own journey, her mission is now to accelerate the healing journey of others.

She had 6 long years of trying to find solutions for her son, and then when her own body finally gave out, several years and a career change before finding the effective solutions for rewiring the nervous system for optimal physical, mental and emotional health.
