21 Day Journey Alumni Mentor Agreement For Professional Development

This Agreement is made and entered into between Trauma Healing Accelerated and the individual Alumni Mentor

In consideration of the foregoing and the mutual covenants and premises contained herein, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Trauma Healing Accelerated and the Alumni Mentor hereby agree as follows:

a. The Alumni Mentor agrees to participate in professional development training with Trauma Healing Accelerated through payment of $99. The Alumni Mentor is affiliating themselves with Trauma Healing Accelerated while acting as an Alumni Mentor for the clients of Trauma Healing Accelerated, specifically in the roles of an Alumni Mentor for the 21 Day Journey (or other advanced somatic courses if decided upon at a later time). The Alumni Mentor is an independent individual and not an independent contractor or employee of Trauma Healing Accelerated.

b. The role of the Alumni Mentor will be to lead a daily group somatic exercises according to the sequence and style taught in Trauma Healing Accelerated during the 21 Day Journey (or other advanced somatic courses if decided upon at a later time). They agree to not introduce or talk about other modalities, methods or sequence will working with Trauma Healing Accelerated clients.

Clients in the 21 Day Journey or larger Trauma Healing Accelerated community may request to have 1:1 somatic support and will be referred to those Mentors with specific somatic experiencing training at this time until further notice. If mutually agreed that the alumni mentor may provide 1:1 support for Trauma Healing Accelerated, those arrangements will be made outside of this Agreement.

While they represent themselves, still, because the Alumni Mentor is meeting with a client of Trauma Healing Accelerated, the Alumni Mentor agrees to stay within their scope of practice and any limitations thereof. Specifically, they will act as and represent their services only as a somatic mentor and coach and not act as a licensed practitioner or provider. They will not diagnose, treat or prescribe, nor provide therapy to those outside of their licensed jurisdiction.

c. The Alumni Mentor will report any incidents or miscommunications that happen during interactions with Trauma Healing Accelerated clients promptly by email to the program manager and provide a written summary.

d. The Alumni Mentor will maintain in strict confidence all Trauma Healing Accelerated client and customer information, including but not limited to names, locations, contact information, information about their history they would have shared in confidence or any information that could be put the client in any legal, medical or ethical danger.

Term of Engagement

The term of this Agreement commences on acknowledging this agreement by typing the full name of the Alumni Mentor in the box below.

1. Fees and Payments

If mutually agreed that Alumni Mentors will provide 1:1 support to individuals for payment, those financial arrangements will be made outside of this agreement.

2. Insurance & Indemnification

It is understood that Alumni Mentors do not have specific Somatic Experiencing training and are deemed competent to provide mentorship to those members going through the 21 Day Journey because they themselves have gone through that online course and have demonstrated a level of growth and competence to be able to be a mentor for others.

It is necessary for an Alumni Mentor to maintain at their own cost, all of their own professional certifications, insurance and liability.

Trauma Healing Accelerated will not be held responsible for the IC’s professional insurance and liability.

3. Each party shall indemnify and hold the other harmless from and against any and all liability including fines, claims, demands, suits or actions of any kind or nature arising by reason of the indemnifying party's acts or omissions in the course of performing its obligations under this agreement. As the Alumni Mentor represents themselves, Trauma Healing Accelerated will not be held responsible for an Alumni Mentor practicing outside of their scope of practice with or causing damage to a Trauma Healing Accelerated client.

4. While they represent the company, the Alumni Mentor is not an independent contractor or employee of Trauma Healing Accelerated and is not entitled to any holiday pay, time off, sick leave, medical insurance or benefits.

5. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement without cause upon 7 days prior with written notice to the other party. This Agreement will be terminated immediately if the continuation of the Alumni Mentor in their role could bring harm to themselves or another.

6. Miscellaneous Provisions

i. This Agreement contains the entire understanding and agreement of the parties hereto with respect to the matters set forth herein. This Agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings. representations or agreements, whether written or oral.

ii. This Agreement may not be modified, altered or amended except by a subsequent written instrument executed by the party against whom such modifications, alteration or amendment is sought to be enforced, which instrument shall specifically refer to this section of the Agreement.

In Witness Whereof, Trauma Healing Accelerated and the Alumni Mentor have executed this Agreement to be effective as of the date and year set by the submission of this online form through the printing of the full name of the Somatic Mentor in the box below.
