Business Description
If I had to choose a name for the best medicine, it would be “Collaborative Medicine”. I love to be able to introduce people to a range of options for their own unique "journey" to Easeful Happy Purposeful and Creative Life ... As a practitioner, Cranio Sacral Therapy called me as soon as I experienced its effects - on my breath, energy and capacity to Be. My more recent training in Cymatics came after a massive injury to my own Spine, Vision, Nervous System and Kidney, by a deadly assault, which lead me to know the power of frequencies (be it by Sound, Light, Colour, Essential Oils or something beyond Forgiveness …). After regaining function - working again but still with PTSD - I was lead to Hanna Somatics. This took me beyond mobility to remember how comfort feels. I could dance again … and my fiancee declared that "the household had changed". Dr. Thomas Hanna's "Myth of Ageing" became an essential companion and after 18 years I still marvel at the transformative effects of this seemingly simple modality on structural, neurological, emotional and energetic "bodies" ... It works on so many levels! Therefore I’m currently in the third year of the Practitioner Training, at the Novato Institute for Hanna Somatic Education. Cranio Sacral Therapy may be the reason that I survived to learn these complementary ways and is still a favourite. I dream of seeing such things becoming a normal part of Elder care … along with Inter-generational Living and Surrogate Family Homes.
