Michelle Brown

Biology of Trauma® Advanced Provider

Michelle is a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor and Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner (FNLP), herbalist, and trauma-informed health coach who is part of Dr. Aimie’s Biology of Trauma® Advanced Professional Training Program. Michelle has worked with men and women across many walks of life to support their overall health. She specializes in helping her clients with fatigue, hormone balance, detoxification, and gut health.

Cat Dillon

Biology of Trauma® Advanced Provider

Cat Dillon is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN), Functional Diagnostic Practitioner (FDN-P) and trauma-informed health coach specializing in a whole food + mind + body approach to women’s mid-life health.  Her Southern California practice focuses on working with clients to determine the root causes of their health challenges.  

Cat utilizes holistic + body-centered strategies that address biochemical and nervous system imbalances, calm the gut and mind, and restore a balanced relationship with food and eating.

Cat combines her background as a professional chef with the wisdom of ancestral eating, traditional science (functional lab analysis), and the holistic (self-awareness, somatic regulation, mindfulness) to help her clients feel more connected, fully alive, and well-balanced. As the long-standing former Director of Nutrition at acclaimed wellness retreat VeraVia, she has guided 100s of clients through complex health & wellness journeys. 

Cat is a participating candidate in Dr. Aimie’s Biology of Trauma® Advanced Professional Training Program. She previously mentored on behalf of Liz Lipski, PhD, professor and Director of Academic Development for the Nutrition and Integrative Health Program at Maryland University of Integrative Health. 

Cat’s programs bloomed out of a personal drive to heal her own chronic stress, trauma, gut issues, and disordered eating. Her processes encourage embracing self-knowledge as a powerful tool for change, and reframing current challenges as opportunities for expansion.

Details About Your Health Coach & Services

Your coach is a mentor and guide who has been trained in holistic health and the Biology of Trauma® to help you reach your physical and mental health goals.  Together you will create a roadmap to implement positive, sustainable lifestyle, therapeutic and dietary changes for your success.

Your coach’s background and training make them uniquely qualified to support you in discussing recommendations to help you know your next best step for your life and health.

Please Note: Your health coach works on a referral basis with Trauma Healing Accelerated and is not employed by the company. 


What to Expect

Your health coach will review your forms and assessments and present a recommended plan to you during your 1:1 session. Recommendations in your plan may include nutritional advice or supplement recommendations, as well as addressing lifestyle factors. They may also recommend reading or other assignments like journaling, drawing, body-focused exercises and courses that would be the best fit given your history and presentation.  

 
Our Goal For The Session

You will walk away with a plan that you understand and can be successful with!  You will understand the reason for the different action steps in the plan and know when and how to follow up as would be helpful to you. The goal for this session is for you to be empowered with information about your body and ideas for next steps you could take to achieve a better life after living with the effects of stored trauma on your body and health.

Other Details About the Session

  • As part of quality and training purposes, health coaching sessions will be recorded by your health coach who will own the recording and transcript. These may be shared with Trauma Healing Accelerated for training purposes and will be stored under all confidentiality and not shared with anyone outside of Trauma Healing Accelerated.
  • Each session will begin promptly on time and end promptly on time, regardless of the time that you enter the meeting. In order to make sure you have the most time for your 1:1 support, please be on time.
  • Coaching sessions are non-refundable and must be scheduled within 120 days of purchase. If you need to reschedule your session, you must give 48 hours notice to your health coach by email.
  • If we review your information and decide we are not able to help you, we will cancel the scheduled appointment and you will be issued a full refund.

At the completion of all 6 modules of the Certification Course, you will receive a certification as a Biology of Trauma® Provider from Trauma Healing Accelerated. This is a certification that you will be adding to your professional work capacities. You are still held to the restrictions, responsibilities and privileges of your primary license and board.
