What is the Mastery Level Training Program?

  1. The highest level of training presently offered to professionals in The Biology of Trauma®
  2. An approximate 6.5 or 7.5 month capstone program for professionals that want to integrate The Biology of Trauma® concepts into their practice at a higher level.
  3. This program provides the opportunity for Advanced Professionals to:
    1. Receive weekly small group mentorship from Dr. Aimie Apigian, MD as well as other Mastery Professionals
    2. Provide mentorship to other The Biology of Trauma® students
    3. Collaborate with Dr. Aime, Dr. Marissa, Becky, and other Mastery Professionals
    4. Experience an interdisciplinary community of support from professionals that are integrating The Biology of Trauma® into their work.

Who is this Program for?

  • Biology of Trauma Professionals that: 
    • Have demonstrated high integration capacity in their Biology of Trauma®
      training
    • Are seeking support in implementation of The Biology of Trauma® concept
    • Would benefit from mentorship and case consultation
    • Enjoy working collaboratively with like minded professionals
    • Have completed their Biology of Trauma® training at both the Professional and Advanced Professional Levels

When can I start?

  • A new cohort begins every 6 months (in June and December)
  • This is a 7.5 month program that includes

What is the Time Commitment?

  • Attend Mentor Hours = 1.5 Hour Per Week 
  • Mentoring Advanced Professional Implementation Meetings = 1 Hour Per Week (During the Module)
  • Mentoring posts in Mighty Networks = 1 Hour Per Week (During the Module)
  • Time for Reviewing Weekly Course Materials = approximately 2 hours or more per week

        TOTAL = 5.5 Hours Per Week

How to become a Mastery Level Professional?

  1. Ensure that you have met all of the eligibility requirements through successful completion of the following: 

    • The Foundation Journey (The 21 Day Journey & All Parts of Me)

    • Completion of all 6 Biology of Trauma® Modules in the Professional Training

    • Completion of all 6 Biology of Trauma® Modules in the Advanced Professional Training

    • NOTE: Exceptions can be made for Advanced Professionals that have been invited based on their demonstrated facilitation and/or clinical skill. In this case, a mentor may be allowed to complete missing courses or training through the self-study option.
