Meet Mentor Marcia
Marcia is a creativity coach, mentor, and community lead for Dr. Aimie’s Trauma Healing Accelerated program. With training in Havening, somatics, parts work, and 25+ years in online education, she helps clients access presence through creativity. Marcia blends wisdom from traditions like Buddhism, Gurdjieff, and the Toltec path, offering lightness and depth in the healing journey.
She is a Certified Practitioner in Havening Techniques®, Sound, Voice and Music in the Healing Arts, Kindness Rocks®, and brings over 25 years of experience in online teaching with a Masters in Online Education, and a Bachelors in Fine Art. She has a certificate in, and for a couple of years has mentored Dr. Aimie’s 6 Biology of Trauma® Professional Courses.
She lived and worked at the Findhorn Foundation Intentional Community in Scotland and continues to explore human potential through music, art, community and embodied practices. A flutist who loves to play in amateur chamber ensembles and jam in open mics alike, Marcia brings playfulness and presence to her work.
As the Mentor and Community Lead for Dr. Aimie’s Trauma Healing Accelerated programs, she guides Somatic and Parts sessions, mentors and teaches some parts of the Foundational Journey, and heads the Mentor Training Program. In her private practice, she integrates somatics, parts work, and Havening to guide clients to access creativity, presence, and deeper alignment with their True Selves.
Marcia lives in the California redwood forest with her husband and 3 dogs. She enjoys pilates and doing eye support while contained in her somatic swing, and every other weekend she and her husband host an in-person pot luck, music and a dance/poetry jam for their community to tone to her ventral-vagal connections! She loves supporting clients who are experienced in Dr. Aimie’s Foundational Journey and Biology of Trauma® Courses.
