Meet your somatic mentor, Nathan Ng, L.Ac., DACM, SEP
Nathan Ng, L.Ac., SEP, offers individualized somatic trauma healing mentoring to support the releasing of stored trauma, shifting of old survival and attachment patterns, and embodiment. His personalized mentoring offers a safe, loving container for an individual to begin to let go of that which no longer serves them, in service towards living a life of integrity and authenticity. How this might look is more love towards oneself, others and life. How it might look is a sense of feeling safe enough to be yourself, safe enough to reach for what you’d like in life, and safe enough to open your heart again.
What makes Nathan’s work different is that he integrates his background in his Eastern and Western healing lineages. It has given him a perspective and framework that is unique to each individual. He is licensed as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and is a Tai Chi and Qigong teacher. He has been a practitioner of the Chinese wisdom and healing traditions for over 30 years. His Tai Chi Chuan lineages are 5th generation Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan under his grandfather, and 21st generation Chen Style Tai Chi Chuan under his uncle, in the lineage of Grandmaster Chen Qingzhou. He is also a 26th generation practitioner of the Taoist Long Men Pai (Dragon Gate Lineage) under Taoist Master Tseng.
He is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with training in Internal Family Systems, Hakomi (body oriented psychotherapy), Somatic Psychology (at California Institute of Integral Studies), post advanced training in Somatic Touch Skills (Kathy Kain, NeuroAffective Touch), Complex Trauma (NARM), Attachment (DARe), Integral Somatic Psychology, Biology of Trauma, Inner Relationship Focusing and Integrative Somatic Parts Work.
