Somatic Mentor Agreement

This Agreement is made and entered into between Trauma Healing Accelerated and the individual Somatic Mentor.

In consideration of the foregoing and the mutual covenants and premises contained herein, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Trauma Healing Accelerated and the Somatic Mentor hereby agree as follows:

a. The Somatic Mentor is affiliating themselves with Trauma Healing Accelerated while acting as a Somatic Mentor for the clients of Trauma Healing Accelerated, specifically in the role of a Somatic Mentor for members participating in the online course, The 21 Day Journey (or other advanced somatic courses if decided upon at a later time). The Somatic Mentor is an independent individual and not an independent contractor or employee of Trauma Healing Accelerated.

b. The role of the Somatic Mentor will be to provide 1:1 support to members of the 21 Day Journey as requested by the individual members. The Somatic Mentor agrees to support the customer according to the sequence and style taught in Trauma Healing Accelerated during the 21 Day Journey (or other advanced somatic courses if decided upon at a later time). The Somatic Mentor agrees to not introduce or talk about other modalities, methods, or sequences while working with Trauma Healing Accelerated clients. The somatic mentor will be able to offer 1:1 sessions in the next cycle of the 21Day Journey, after they have gone through the Mentor Training Program (MTP).

During these 1:1 support meetings, the Somatic Mentor will not represent Trauma Healing Accelerated but be providing these services representing
themselves.

While they represent themselves, still, because the Somatic Mentor is meeting with a client of Trauma Healing Accelerated, the Somatic Mentor agrees to stay within their scope of practice and any limitations thereof. Specifically, they will act as and represent their services only as a somatic mentor and coach and not act as a licensed practitioner or provider. They will not diagnose, treat or prescribe, nor provide therapy to those outside of their licensed jurisdiction.

The option of a 1:1 somatic support with a Somatic Mentor will be communicated to those clients of Trauma Healing Accelerated enrolled in the 21 Day Journey (or advanced somatic course) at no cost to the Somatic Mentor.

It is encouraged that the Somatic Mentor lead a focus group on a topic of their choice to get more visibility and exposure for their availability for 1:1 somatic support.

c. The Somatic Mentor will report any incidents or miscommunications that happen during interactions with Trauma Healing Accelerated clients promptly by email to the program manager and provide a written summary.

d. The Somatic Mentor will maintain, in strict confidence, all Trauma Healing Accelerated client and customer information, including but not limited to
names, locations, contact information, information about their history they would have shared in confidence, or any information that could put the client in any legal, medical or ethical danger.

Term of Engagement

The term of this Agreement commences on acknowledging this agreement with typing the full name of the Somatic Mentor in the box below.

1. Fees and Payments

Payments from Trauma Healing Accelerated clients for individual support meetings with a Somatic Mentor will be processed through Trauma Healing Accelerated’s course platform, with the Somatic Mentor set up as an affiliate and receiving 66% of payment from the Trauma Healing Accelerated clients for a 1:1 Somatic Coaching meeting. The remaining funds will go to cover administrative costs of Trauma Healing Accelerated for management of scheduling, absorbing costs of credit card payments, and handling all emails with questions regarding the Somatic Mentor.

The current payment and scheduling details for the somatic mentor will be paid through affiliate payments, $50 for a 40-minute meeting.

2. Insurance & Indemnification.

Somatic Mentors will need to have submitted verification of competency of Somatic Mentorship/Coaching through evidence of training in somatic work.

It is necessary for the Somatic Mentor to maintain at their own cost, all of their own professional certifications, insurance and liability. Trauma Healing Accelerated will not be held responsible for professional insurance and liability.

3. Each party shall indemnify and hold the other harmless from and against any and all liability including fines, claims, demands, suits or actions of any kind or nature arising by reason of the indemnifying party's acts or omissions in the course of performing its obligations under this agreement. As the Somatic Mentor represents themselves, Trauma Healing Accelerated will not be held responsible for a Somatic Mentor practicing outside of their scope of practice with or causing damage to a Trauma Healing Accelerated client.

4. While they represent the company in this role, the Somatic Mentor is not an independent contractor or employee of Trauma Healing Accelerated and is not entitled to any holiday pay, time off, sick leave, medical insurance or benefits.

5. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement without cause upon 7 days prior with written notice to the other party.

6. Miscellaneous Provisions.

i. This Agreement contains the entire understanding and agreement of the parties hereto respect to the matters set forth herein. This Agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings. representations or agreements, whether written or oral.

ii. This Agreement may not be modified, altered or amended except by a subsequent written instrument executed by the party against whom such modifications, alteration or amendment is sought to be enforced, which instrument shall specifically refer to this section of the Agreement.

In Witness Whereof, Trauma Healing Accelerated and the Somatic Mentor have executed this Agreement to be effective as of the date and year set by the submission of this online form through the printing of the full name of the Somatic Mentor in the box below.
