What is included in the Advanced Professional Training?

You will receive the Advanced Professional Biology of Stress, Rest and Resilience module. This is where we take the information from the Professional level and give you what you need to directly implement the materials into your practice through handouts, protocols, guides, and assessment forms.

What you get:

  • The step-by-step process to organize and assess information about a client
  • The process and support to put together a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses biology work, as well as somatic work and parts work, to specifically work through stress and anxiety.
  • Dr. Aimie’s actual assessment forms – Dr. Aimie will be giving you the assessment forms she uses to identify, to address and to assess stress and anxiety.  Not only will she be giving you these forms, but helping you know the relevance of the questions on the assessment forms, how to interpret them, and how to create a comprehensive treatment plan from these assessment forms.
  • Step-by-step case studies – Dr. Aimie will walk you through a real case study showing you all of their assessment forms, how to identify the best starting place, and how to pull it all together for a comprehensive treatment plan.
  • New content specific to Advanced Professionals that shows you how to recognize a true physiologic stress pattern in your clients/patients versus what many practitioners mistake as stress and is actually a freeze response.
  • A model of exactly where to begin in addressing a true stress pattern and persistent anxiety with your client/patients.

Your Biology of Trauma® Instructor,
Aimie Apigian, MD, MS, MPH

Dr. Aimie is a double Board-Certified medical physician who specializes in trauma, attachment, addictions and addressing trauma on a cellular level. She earned her medical degree at Loma Linda University and has a Masters in Biochemistry as well as a Masters in Public Health. She trained for over three years as a general surgeon before changing her career path to help people and train practitioners how to address The Biology of Trauma®.

In addition to her medical studies, Dr. Aimie has trained in trauma therapy modalities. She studied with Dr. Allan Schore on Attachment Regulation Theory, trained in Somatic Experiencing, NeuroAffective Touch™, Internal Family Systems (Parts Work) and the Instinctual Trauma Response Model™ and Psychodynamic Drama.
